PACIFIC WATER CONFERENCE & EXPO 2011 On behalf of the Pacific Water & Wastes Association (PWWA), we invite you and your organisation to be part of the annual event for the water industry to be held at the Novotel Hotel in Lami Bay, Fiji from 28 to 30 September, 2011. The Pacific Water Conference & Expo (PWC) is an event where the issues that drive the industry are discussed and future directions decided. PWC 11 will address the wide ranging issues that face the water industry today. The PWC 11 Conference will feature inspirational international and national keynote speakers, numerous invited speakers, scientific and technical papers, and workshops. This will be a water industry opportunity like no other to network and engage with industry leaders and experts from all over the Pacific. As well as an international standard 3 day conference, a major component of the event will be the PWC 11 Expo that will showcase the best of what the industry has to offer. Well Design Course The Fundamentals of Well Design and Construction Techniques Course Fee $1660 (incl GST) 6-7 October 2011, Perth 10-11 October 2011, Brisbane This 2-day course is designed for groundwater professionals that are responsible for well design, well site selection, the selection of drilling methods, well development methods and the preparation of specifications for water supply and environmental installations. Attendees will gain an understanding of the importance of well efficiency, proper design for the construction of sand free wells and the materials needed to maximize the useful life of a well.
